Bore is clean with strong rifling. Mottled finish on all metal parts which is quite common for a rifle of this age. Wood stocks are in good condition with some handling wear. Just enough to give it some personality! Marked on the butt stock with the Ross roundel as well as the II 4* marking it as the 4th iteration of the Mark II Ross. It has unit markings as well as some other markings, but the unit marking is quite worn.
