A set of 1950's era First Nations beaded dancing cuffs consisting of a pair of armbands and a matched pair of leg wraps. They would have been used as a part of a dance costume, with the shorter wider bands tied around the wrists and the longer narrower bands tied around the ankles.

There is some loss of beading, most particularly on the ankle cuffs. Please examine and enlarge all the photos to see condition!

A beautifully beaded set that has been used and loved!

Ankle cuffs measure 31cm x 8.5cm.

Wrist cuffs measure 30cm x 17cm at their widest points.
