Instructions indicated that you weren't to eat on the first day, and that the remaining rations should last you four days. Pretty grim if you ask me. Roughly 1700 calories TOTAL to last you 4 days. 5 if you count the day you don't eat. The lesson here is definitely try not to crash somewhere without food.
