RCAF Food Packet Survival AFFP-1 : Sealed with Key (Not for Consumption)
An extremely scarce 1950's RCAF Food Packet Survival AFFP-1, sealed with its original key. Not for consumption unless you have a YouTube channel and your name is Steve. Even then, might be dicey.
These contained 4 shortbreads, 8 packs of four fruit jellies, 4 packets of instant coffee and if memory serves, 12 vitamin tablets. Instructions indicated that you weren't to eat on the first day, and that the remaining rations should last you four days. Pretty grim if you ask me. Roughly 1700 calories TOTAL to last you 4 days. 5 if you count the day you don't eat. The lesson here is definitely try not to crash somewhere without food.
An excellent example of a vintage MRE in impeccable condition!
