WWI French Pom Pom Round : Marked for the Battle of St. Quentin Canal

A great little World War One trench art piece made from a French Pom Pom Round. Stamped on the side of the round is "ST QUENTIN" for the Battle of St. Quentin Canal, which was the first time the allied forces breached the Hindenburg Line.

On the fuze portion are the numbers "269-2752". The flared brass base is a little misformed, making the round sit at a bit of an angle.
