An exceedingly rare piece, this gas sad iron heater has been beautifully enameled in blue, with copper fittings to provide gas to the two burners. The removable plates on the burners are marked "CP B te SGDG PARIS", and we've paired it up with a No. 6 and No. 7 sad iron by Gendarme, a French sad iron maker. It is in overall very good condition, with the only notable damage being a crack on the left hand side above the back leg. There is some light loss of enamel, but nothing major. The smaller of the two sad irons has surface rust on the base, and could use a bit of cleaning up.

The heater itself measures 10.75" x 8.25" x 5" tall, with the gas fittings sticking out an additional 2.75" on the front. The two gas valve levers turn freely.
