See now I know I called this a darkroom timer, but really it says right on the tin that it's a universal timer. So if you, say, have a significant other who keeps putting things in the oven and then you ask them some time later if they set a timer and they say "Oh… no.", then MAYBE they would remember to set a timer if said timer was fully eight and three quarter inches tall and you would no longer have to suffer through burned potatoes.
