You have to love a MAS bolt action rifle, and one chambered in the fantastically versatile .308 Winchester? Well, honestly it's hard to find anything to be mad at here.

Bore is clean with strong rifling. Action is smooth and crisp. There are some mismatched serial numbers on the stock which should be pretty obvious from the difference in colour, but being as it's a .308 conversion that's not terribly surprising. With all that said, both the metal and the wood is in lovely condition. There is that funny little notch out above the trigger, my best guess being to make operating the safety a little easier when it's in the 'safe' position.

Just a fantastic French military rifle in a superb caliber. What more can you ask for?
