A lovely antique Tranter Model 1868 Revolver chambered in .450 Caliber, intricately engraved and dealer marked on the barrel with "Wilkinson & Son Pall Mall London", who were later to become Wilkinson Sword.

Bore is clean with good rifling and some mild pitting. Hammer holds at half and full cock, and functions in both single and double action. There is a pivoting cartridge ejector rod that is released by way of a catch in front of the cylinder on the left side. There is some wear to the plated finish, however that's more than made up for by the lovely engraving on the receiver, trigger guard, butt plate and barrel. The checkered wood grip has a rich dark patina with some handling marks but no major damage.
