A gorgeous 18th century oak coffer. Hand carved detailing, hand forged hinges, ornate brass keyhole covers… no detail was spared on this! Even the places where the latch passes through the lid were covered over with brass. The front face has two quite unique kind of pie-circle inlays made from different types of wood.

It's had some restoration in the past. The base of the coffer interior appears to be more recent wood, as well as the sides of the drawer.

A stunning piece from the 1700's. It's lasted over 300 years, and it's ready to be treasured for 300 more!

Measures 49.5" long x 21" deep x 31" high.
