An M1884/98 III Knife Bayonet for use with the German 8mm Mauser Kar 98K rifle of the Second World War. The blade is marked dating it to 1938.
Ricasso is marked on one side with "CLEMEN & JUNG" and "7339 h" on the other. The non-matching scabbard is marked "42 col" on one side and "7120 a" above the frog stud. There is an illegible waffenamt on the ball finial along with two more on the opposing side above the catch.
Some light pitting and rust throughout. Please examine all the photos for a good representation of the condition.
