A T-back sword bayonet for the 11mm M1874 Gras rifle, manufactured at the French State Arms Plant in St. Etienne. It has a correct scabbard with a non-matching serial number.

Overall in fair condition, with minor wear (mostly on the brass sections). The blade has a bend about 4.5" down from the tip.

Marked on the spine of the blade : "Mre. d'Armes de St Etienne Juin 1876"

Crossguard : J/C (?) 13534

Quillion : T, M, & B proof marks

Ricasso : S in diamond and M in circle proof marks

Scabbard has an AC (I believe) 10632 along with various proof marks both at the mouthpiece and the ferrule.
