WWI German Ersatz Bayonet : Carter's EB10
A World War I German Ersatz Bayonet. Identified as Bayonet EB10 from J. Anthony Carter's "German Bayonets, Volume 3", this example retains much of its original paint as well as a correct scabbard.
It has a faint imperial proof mark on the ricasso, as well as the number 148 stamped into the end of the pommel. The blade has some mild pitting, mostly towards the tip. The tip of the scabbard looks a little bit mashed, but it still fits the bayonet well.
