Bore is bright with good strong rifling. Just a beautiful piece to look at, the attention to detail doesn't stop on this from the checkered fore stock to the textured cushioned butt plate. The brass coloured trigger is an especially nice touch if you ask me.

The high gloss finish on the stock has a couple of notable dings, most significant being on bottom right below the action. The lacquer has yellowed over the years, which shows especially on the white inlaid parts. Metal parts have light wear, with some notable mottling to the finish on the bolt and bolt handle.
