Antique .36 Cal Black Powder Percussion Navy Revolver, Series III. Made by Manhattan Fire Arms Co., Newark NJ, Patent 1859.

Matching serial numbers on all parts. Fully operational and ready to shoot. The action is functional and the cylinder indexes and locks up properly. The load step and bullet rammer are in good operational condition. All of the nipples are intact. The original finish has developed an even brown patina throughout. The wood grips are in good condition with no chips or cracks.

Manufactured prior to 1897, Canadian Antique Status piece, no PAL required. This is an early model and is a transition from a Colt 49 Pattern. Of particular interest to collectors is that the ram was still made for a smaller calibre, putting this as one of the first production run of Series III pieces.
