It is an old-school deactivation. The safety works, the bolt functions and trigger is operational. The barrel has been drilled and pinned, and is also plugged. It will NOT fire ammunition.

The magazine is removable, but if you purchase this and don't have a PAL it will need to be deactivated as well before it can be shipped. Otherwise as a deactivated arm, there is no license required to purchase or own.
