A London Small Arms manufactured Lee Enfield No.I Mk.III Bolt Action Rifle chambered in .303 British. Circa 1911 

Bore is bright and clean with strong rifling. Action is smooth and crisp. Wood stocks are in good condition with moderate handling marks. Butt stock is marked with an HV, indicating it has been upgraded to handle the higher velocity Mk. VII .303 ammunition. Marked just ahead of the action with an SA, marking it as a South Australian Defense Force piece. There are also double broad arrows pointing at each other, marking it as a piece that was sold out of service.
