WW1 French Model 1914 Bracelet Ball Grenade

An inert World War I French Model 1914 Bracelet Ball Grenade. An upgrade from the original ball grenade, this featured a segmented interior to improve fragmentation as well as a threaded fuse with a 4 second delay. The pin was meant to be attached to a lanyard which was then joined to a bracelet that went around the wrist. The theory was that the pin would then be pulled when the grenade was thrown, giving a bit of extra time before the grenade went off. All together a smashing idea given that the 2 lb weight of this meant it usually couldn't be thrown an appreciable distance, at least not far enough that I personally would be happy with a 4 second fuse.
