At over 100 years old, this Winchester Model 1890 Takedown Slide Action Rifle is a marvellous little piece of kit! Receiver has been altered to chamber .22 LR, so although the barrel is marked .22 Short it will NOT function properly with .22 Short ammunition. It has a lovely smooth action.

Bore is good, and the wood stock and slide grip have some wear as you can see in the photos. Has that lovely feel you can only get after hanging around for 109 years.

All in all a great little .22 takedown!

SN#600140 dates it to 1916.
