Spanish sword bayonet for use with the 7mm Mauser M1916 short rifle along with the 8mm Mauser M1943 short rifle. This example was made at the Artilleria Fabrica Nacional in Toledo, Spain.

The blade itself is in fair conditions with some nicks and scratches along the length. The checkered wood grips are worn and the metal has a patina of age throughout. The leather scabbard has shortened slightly in length, likely due to the leather not being maintained. It may be possible to recondition the leather and stretch it back out a touch for it to fit the blade nicely again.

The ricasso is marked on one side with "11619" and on the other side "Artilleria (fca) Nacional Toledo" between two single lines. The symbol and the 'fca' have faded over time.
