For lack of a better designation I'm calling this a Japanese Gaff. The handle is quite similar but the head? Well, other than the fact that it has pointy things that look like they're for grabbing other things, it has no resemblance. Hopefully someone will see this and say "No, silly! That's a fendangled glimpwobbler!" and I will have learned something.

After all, who are we if we're not willing to keep learning?
