Bore is bright, shiny and clean with NO rifling, because this is a musket. These were SMLE rifles that had the magazine well plugged and the barrel bored out to .410 gauge for the Indian Military to use as riot guns. There is some wear to the metal, and the top wood shroud piece just in front of the action is cracked. Serial numbers are matching on ALL visible parts, including the wood stock which is marked just behind the bayonet lug! A very interesting Enfield variant for the collector, and while we still have ammunition in stock for it you can even take it out to the range and have some fun with it.
