One of the few semi-automatic rifles you can still purchase in Canada, this FN Herstal SAFN-49 was made under contract for the  Egyptian military as evidenced by the Arabic characters on both the sight ladder and the right side of the stock below the receiver. It's chambered in the very accessible 8mm Mauser.

Overall in very good condition with only one notable issue: a hairline crack in the lower fore-stock. The action is smooth and in full working order, and the bore is clean with strong rifling.
