An astonishingly rare find, this is an original crate containing twelve inert No. 36 Mills Grenades, complete with the key to remove the threaded base plug, and a FULL original tin of inert detonators. About the only thing missing from this is the key from the bottom of the detonator tin that was used to open it, which in the grand scheme of things is a pretty small thing to be missing.

The whole thing has a fantastic patina, and each of the twelve Mills Bombs each have a unique patina of their own. The original tag is still on the inside of the lid, indicating that this particular crate came from Defence Industries Limited Shell Filling Department Cherrier Works in Quebec. 

This would be a prized piece in any military collection!
