Onnaing France Majolica Barbotine Pig Pitcher
This pig is the boss of the whole joint. And by joint I mean 'place', although I'm sure he could handily take on any cut of roast that was presented to him. He is, after all, the Maitre D'Hotel. That's a Maitre D, for those of you who didn't know that the 'D' used to have a whole other part attached to him.
This beautiful majolica fellow was made by Onnaing France in the 1880's. He has a brown shirt and a blue cap and a sparkling white apron, and he's carrying a little bottle because that's what gets him through his shift and he doesn't want any judgement about that thank you very much.
Measures 10.25" x 6 7/8" x 4 7/8".
