A World War II Semi-Automatic Browning F.N. Hi-Power No.2 Mk.I* Service Pistol chambered in 9mm.
This gun is in stunning condition from its age. The story goes that a WWII medic was on the way back home after the war on a ship and struck up a friendship with a service man who confessed that he hadn't turned in his service pistol. The doctor offered to take it in his medical bag to save the soldier having to explain why he still had it, and from there it passed down through the family and eventually made its way to our shop.
The bore is bright and clean with strong rifling. The finish is at least a 9/10, with only some minor scuffs from handling over the years. Good strong markings and matching serial numbers. All mechanical parts are functioning well.
A fantastic WWII piece in stunning condition, and with an excellent story to go with it.
