Flintlock 4 Barrel .75 Caliber Volley Gun
Bores are in excellent condition with very light surface oxidization that should resolve with wet cleaning. Flint mechanism works perfectly at both half and full cock, emitting strong sparks. Half cock acts as a safety.
Wood stocks are in outstanding overall condition with minor usage marks. Fittings are in exceptionally good condition, and are of impeccable construction. Features a front bead sight, removable ramrod and both fore and rear swivels. Ramrod is meant to be removed before firing.
Can be used in a single chamber configuration, however as a volley gun this is designed to discharge all four barrels at the same time. The only marks are on the case hardened action, and say "Fred C. 1776". The touch hole has a removable liner.
An outstanding and unique collector piece that is in full working condition.
Measures 40.5" in length not including the ramrod.
