The red edging is quite worn and is completely worn through at the seam for most of its length. There is some loss of beading on the borders particularly, and some holes and tears in the fabric. The velvet ribbon strap is detached on one side.
Overall an absolutely lovely piece made during a time when colonial tastes started influencing the design of some First Nations pieces.
Measures 17cm across at the widest point, and 15cm tall.
