A nice Antique Status Webley "WG" Model 1889 Revolver chambered .455 Webley, with the church steeple cylinder.

Bore is clean with good rifling. Functions in both single and double action, with quite a firm hammer pull in single action. Metal retains much of its original bluing, with wear marks throughout. Checkered grips are in lovely shape with a few more 'rubbed' spots, mostly on the right side. Mechanically functions well! Marked on the top of the barrel with 'W. Richards 44 Fishergate Preston 34'. W. Richards was a gunmaker and retailer of firearms with shops in both Preston and Liverpool beginning in the early 1800's.
