The American rifle known officially as the "United States Rifle, cal .30, Model of 1917", otherwise known as the P17 Enfield. An American alteration of the original P14 Enfield to take .30-06 caliber ammunition, these were manufactured between 1917 and 1918. This particular rifle was made by Remington.

Bore is bright and clean with excellent rifling. The dark military wood stocks have appropriate wear for their age, with handling marks and some deeper dents. Action is smooth and crisp.

A fabulous old WWI military rifle with many years of good use left in it! There's nothing quite like going to the range with a piece of military history.
