WWII German K98 Bayonet with Scabbard by Carl Eickhorn, 1941
An M1884/98 III Knife Bayonet for use with the German 8mm Mauser Kar 98K rifle of the Second World War. The scabbard is marked dating it to 1940.
Ricasso is marked on one side with "41 cof" and ""9488 i" on the other. The scabbard is marked "CARL EICKHORN 1940" on one side and "2047 g" above the frog stud. There is an illegible waffenamt on the tip of the scabbard along with two more on the hilt above the catch. Those appear to read "WaA 88" and "WaA883".
Overall in impressive condition with minimal wear and bluing still present on the blade. Please examine all the photos for a good representation of the condition.
