Gold Inlaid Spanish Miquelet Blunderbuss Belt Pistol.

Blunderbuss barrel is octagonal with a tapered muzzle section opening up to 26.5mm, or just over an inch. Gold inlaid design on the octagonal portion of the barrel along with a gold maker's mark that I can't quite make out. Inlaid ornate brass mountings on the wood stock, and a brass trigger guard. Brass capped ramrod is quite worn at the end. Mainspring has been professionally restored by an expert black powder gunsmith and historical arms specialist. Holds half cock and full cock. Circa 1750.

A stunning rare piece of firearms history in shootable condition. It would be a wonderful addition to any antique arms collection!
