This vintage tin is both LARGE and IN CHARGE. Not sure what you would put it in charge of though, because putting inanimate objects in charge of things is generally speaking not the best idea. Unless of course you are SO terrible at being in charge of things that an inanimate object could do no worse. In that case, carry on.

This would have been used to contain candy in a general store type setting, and as such has some absolutely fantastic advertising on the inside of the lid. Once upon a time it held roughly 16 pounds of toffee and that, my friends, is a lot of toffee.

The tin litho on this is in quite remarkable condition for the age, with some heavier wear on the top of the lid.
