Proving that everything old is cool again, here we have the aptly named bell bottom lantern. It was made by E.T. Wright to be used on the railway, and it is fantastically modular and beautifully constructed! The cage around the glass is formed of thick metal ribs and thinner circular wire. The top lifts off the base for easy access to the wick, and the top opens as well so you can remove the glass for cleaning.
