This lovely little white rabbit was made by one of the 19th century's leading makers of automata, Roullet & Decamps. It's wound by way of a branded key in the back. When wound, it nods its head up and down towards its hands and the ears go forward and back. I think it may have had a carrot in its hands once upon a time, but now its hands are empty for you to place whatever you imagine this rabbit might like to eat.

A beautiful example of a period of automata-making where they became more widely accessible, and just prior to the arrival of the 'robot' in the 1920's.

Measures 12.5" tall by 7" deep by 5" wide when it's at its tallest.
